Abstract:
Poster presentation by Maggie Parker introducing a virtual exhibition space developed at Teesside University. An interdepartmental collaboration between Maggie Parker and Kate Boardman enabled the construction of a virtual 'Grieg Gallery' for graduate student art work in Teesside University's 'virtual island', Teeslife, in the virtual online world Second Life. This involved creating a gallery space and frame on which to ‘hang’ the art-work. The ‘Grieg Gallery’ is available to be viewed by anyone with access to Second Life and improved access to work created by Teesside University students.
