Abstract:
We report here the synthesis and characterization of a new heteroleptic ruthenium(II) complex and its applications as efficient light-harvesting sensitizer in functional dye-sensitized solar cells. The relation between the interfacial charge-transfer processes that govern the device performance and the cell efficiency under illumination are also discussed.
